The story of West Woods Posse, Chapter 20-6

The story of West Woods Posse, Chapter 20-6. The story goes that a detachment of Chapter  20-2 had grown large enough to become its own chapter, as it was to the West and at the time it was Mostly woods and farmland The West Woods Posse was Founded. The original Commander as I’ve Heard was River Brat, C-Way, Honest Bob, Dark Man, Maytag, and Captain Hughes, With Barbwire, And Spin cycle as Aux.  I also heard it was not originally 20-6 but 20-4, but as enough members were south near Orlando, they took the 20-4 chapter, and another Detachment was started from there that later became 20-6.  Or so the story goes, and the Legends Began…..

Or this

The Story of West Woods Posse, Chapter 20-6

As Told in the Old Code

"In the shade of the tall pines and under the eye of the sun, where roads ran long and fields stretched wild, a legend took root — not of kings, nor of gods, but of riders, brothers, and unbreakable code."

Chapter XX-VI: The Founding of the West Woods Posse

Long before the dust settled on the highways of Central Florida, before the name 20-6 was etched in steel and ink, there rode a detachment of warriors under the banner of Chapter 20-2. They were few, but they were fierce. As the years passed, their numbers swelled like thunderheads on the horizon, and their mission, once borrowed, called for its own name.

To the west they rode — into the wildlands of woods and farmland, where pavement cracked under the weight of silence and stories yet to be told. And there, in those shadowed stretches beyond the main roads, a new chapter was born.

The Founders

The first names are spoken like prayers around the fire:

  • River Brat – the steady hand, the quiet fury. It was River Brat who helped give the Posse its identity

    • — West of Old Spanish Pirates, deep in the woods, and never backing down.

  • C-Way – the sharp mind with roads mapped in memory.

  • Honest Bob – truth-teller, oath-keeper, and the soul of the posse.

  • Maytag – the storm-bringer, dependable as sunrise.

  • Texas – the fire starter. A man of grit and conviction, Texas was more than a name — he was the spark. It’s said he saw the potential before anyone else did. Where others saw distance, he saw a frontier. Where others hesitated, he rode ahead.

 With Original Members

  • Dark Man – the shadow walker, ever loyal, ever watching.

  • Captain Hughes – the iron spine, the voice of command.

At their flanks rode the Auxiliaries — not lesser, but equally vital:

  • Barbwire – sharp, unyielding, and deadly to cross.

  • Spin Cycle – fast, chaotic, and always circling back.

These names are carved into the memory of those who came after — not for fame, but for forging something from the dust, something that still rides.

The Shift of Numbers

At first, they bore the number 20-2, a badge of direction more than identity. But the winds of change blow wild in Florida. As brothers and sisters migrated south toward Orlando, the original 20-4 was claimed by the southern detachment, which had grown strong enough to hold its own ground.

So, the West Woods Posse — now larger, louder, and battle-tested — stepped forward with a new  Number 20-6.

I the Fall of 2013, the designation was made official. But to those who were there, that date wasn’t just a registration — it was a coronation. From that moment on, they weren’t just a chapter.
They were a posse.

The Legacy

Since that day, the name West Woods Posse has ridden the wind — not as a whisper, but as a roar. Where they go, respect follows. Where they stand, lines are drawn. And when they ride, they do so not as individuals, but as a storm — many voices, one purpose.

It’s said that legends are made, not born. But those who know the truth will tell you:
20-6 wasn’t made or born — it was earned.

So when the sun sets over the western woods and the engines growl to life, listen closely. You might just hear the old names again. Because the story never ends — it only rides on.
